Peach Growing Features

Peach is a soft, juicy, fleshy fruit, the fruit of the peach tree.

This crop requires a special type of soil. Peaches prefer light, well-drained, and fertile soils with a neutral or slightly alkaline reaction.

Before planting, the soil can be enriched with organic fertilizers such as humus, compost, and if necessary, sand can be added to improve drainage on clay soils.

After planting a seedling, use mulch (straw, hay) to retain moisture and protect the roots.

Planting timing: the most optimal time is spring (April or May), or if in autumn, September or October.

Tree care:

  • Watering: in hot, dry weather, peach trees should be watered 1-2 times per week. Use warm water for watering, and irrigate at the base in the morning or evening hours.
  • Top dressing: apply at least 4 times per season: after the snow melts, during fruit set formation, when fruits are filling, and after fruiting.
  • Pruning: peach pruning can be done twice per season: in spring, when buds begin to open (but before flowering), and in autumn, after fruit harvest. The main crown-shaping work is done in spring.
  • Winter protection: since peach is a heat-loving crop, it should be provided with protection from winter frosts. For warm regions, high hilling of the trunk with soil or mulching materials up to 60 cm is sufficient; for cold regions, protective structures must be installed.

In turn, we can offer you an assistant for your garden plot: Microbiological fertilizer "Biogor-Zh" of the "KM" series for fruit and berry crops.

This complex preparation was developed in accordance with the requirements of a new scientific direction related to the group of rhizosphere bacteria that promote plant growth (PGPR).

The preparation promotes:

  • increase in mass, formation of fruit buds and ovaries;
  • stimulation of active growth and development of fruits, leading to increased yields;
  • acceleration of the fruit ripening process, allowing harvest at optimal timing;
  • providing fruits with rich flavor and high nutritional value;
  • extending the shelf life of the harvest, which is important for maintaining its quality;
  • restoring and maintaining soil fertility, promoting long-term and successful cultivation of fruit and berry crops.

The preparation contains microorganisms with probiotic, phosphate-mobilizing, nitrogen-fixing, and cellulose-decomposing capabilities, as well as carbohydrates, macro- and microelements necessary for healthy plant growth and development.

Microbiological fertilizer "Biogor-Zh" of the "KM" series is a reliable product for successful cultivation of fruit and berry crops, ensuring high yields and product quality.
